This photograph was taken on the beach in Bol, Croatia. It also was a finalist in Moment's Make Your World Bigger contest. I had been traveling around Asia and Europe for 4 months at this point - seeing a touch of the stunning and jaw dropping views of this earth. Croatia was absolutely no exception with it's crystal clear water and incredible waterfalls. The challenge though was on the PARTY islands in Croatia where this sun-shy, non-drinking, nature / culture seeking traveler was something of a fish out of water. But as Mindy Kaling once wrote, "Sometimes you just have to put on lipgloss and pretend to be psyched." I made my world a little bigger by joining the party - beach and otherwise. This picture features the aftermath:: much needed rest!
